Tour Pricing

When Bennett Student Travel presents a trip proposal to the school, our proposal gives the group leader a precise cost-breakdown of each and every expense in the trip, line-by-line.  That way, there is never a question about the cost of a specific item in a tour. This is important if the group leaders ever need to trim the trip budget, or add on additional chaperones or an administrator. We have used this pricing policy since we started in the student tour business. Group leaders like the openness of the pricing and find it to be more up-front and transparent. Ironically, almost every other tour company that we compete with will refuse to give a group leader their cost and expense breakdown of their own trip.

Trip Scheduling

Bennett Student Travel works very carefully with each school to carefully piece together the tour schedule. We recommend that a trip’s itinerary be as full as possible and include as many varied experiences as possible. Our philosophy is that we have a very limited time with the students (usually only 3-4 days) and we try to maximize their time at a destination. Because we have been handling student groups for over twenty years, we know when to visit certain sites and how to combine things to create a schedule that flows easily.

Bus Companies

Bennett Student Travel takes great care in its selection of bus companies to hire for multi-day student tours. A major component in the selection process is the safety standards and equipment maintenance for a bus company’s fleet. We look for companies that do not charter out older motor coaches and those that do not have a reputation for frequent mechanical breakdowns. We only support bus companies that hire knowledgeable and experienced drivers that are fully prepared for our trips. Drivers that work well with students is an extremely important part of the successful operation of a group tour. Bennett Student Travel maintains a very short list of bus companies that it uses for its school group customers.

Hotel Selection

Bennett Student Travel carefully selects each hotel that it recommends to a group. Each school group has specific needs when it comes to hotels. These include the location of the hotel itself, whether the hotel has interior or exterior room access, how the hotel’s security is handled, how inclusive the hotel’s on-site breakfast is, what the clientele is at the hotel, how many student rooms can be booked  on a specific floor, and the avoidance of first floor rooms with windows that open. A representative of Bennett Student Travel will always personally visit the group’s hotel prior to committing to a contract to be sure that the hotel meets our company’s standards.
